Starry Eyed Surprise
Well last night was quite eventful! Was a crowd of about 15 of us. After quite a hunt to find a cash machine (helpful hint…go to 7 Eleven!!), we went to a few bars and then ended up in Kareoke. Rolled back into the hostel at around 4 am…excellent stuff.
Got up early this morning to check out and head to the train station for my final trip on the Shinkansen and indeed the conclusion to my solo escapades in Japan.
Decided to spend the afternoon in Kobe, had a wander down to the harbour. Got a bit lost but as usual there was someone there to offer their assistance. They even came back when they saw I had went the wrong way! I had actually gone the wrong way intentionally though…to get a drink from a convenience store. I decided to buy a hotdog while I was there…and on trying to figure out how to open the sauce sachet, it squirted all over my tshirt!
Had a fairly quiet night tonight, just about to watch a film. It’s really dawning on me that it’s the final countdown now, I only have a week left!
